Grigor, 24, confirmed the sad news to Bulgarian media, wishing his 28-year-old ex ‘happiness and success’.
The tennis player said: “We experienced wonderful moments together.
“I wish her much happiness and success in life and in tennis.
“Now I’m concentrated entirely on the game and I’m sure the results will soon be seen… This is the summer of the new beginning for me.”

The couple started dating in 2013, announcing their relationship in May of that year.
Back in May this year, Maria gushed about their relationship, and how well they understand each other thanks to being in the same career.
According to MailOnline, she said: “It’s nice to have someone who really understands and respects [what I do] and knows the drill.
