Liam Hemsworth finally put a ring on it. It's official! The hunky Aussie star and his girlfriend Miley Cyrus are engaged. The two gorgeous celebs got together in 2009 after co-starring in "The Last Song," a movie specifically made by Nicholas Sparks with Miley in mind as the lead character.
"I'm so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam," Miley told People.
The best-selling author sure knows a thing or two about romance. Is he responsible for the celebs in his movies getting romanced and hooking up? Maybe we should call Nicholas Sparks the true Hollywood matchmaker because Miley and Liam aren't the only ones who got things steamy both on and off the big screen.
Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams
When Ryan and Rachel started dating after starring in "The Notebook" we thought this was Hollywood's cutest couple. Both were young, up and coming actors with incredible looks and talent. Their on-screen chemistry was palatable and it was easy to see how these two could fall in love with each other.
The two dated for three years and were engaged until Rachel called it off in 2007. Ryan called his former co-star the "great loves of his life." Since parting ways, the hunky star has gone on to date some of Hollywood's biggest A-listers and is currently dating Eva Mendes. McAdams found romance on another set, "Midnight in Paris" and has been happily in love with Michael Sheen. Sadly, it doesn't look like there will ever be a reunion between "The Notebook" actors?
Zac Efron and Taylor Schilling
When "The Lucky One" premiered this spring everyone wanted to know if the two major stars of the movie we're hooking up or just hanging out. According to a source close to the couple the two undeniably attractive celebs were doing more than just reading lines together.
"They're definitely hooking up. Zac's been going around town bragging about it for the past couple of weeks," the source said.
Reps of the celebs might be denying these two are together but they sure were getting cozy on the red carpet. Should these two remain just friends and co-stars or should they take it to the next level?
