He's got the "Girls!"
"Bachelor" star Juan Pablo Galavis is breaking hearts on his ABC reality show, and he's apparently becoming a Hollywood heartbreaker, as well. According to Us Weekly, the former Venezuelan soccer pro met up with "Girls" creator Lena Dunham backstage at "Good Morning America," and she's got the Instagram pics to prove it.
Dunham gushed over the hunky 32-year-old reality star, and posted a pic of JP and her co-star Allison Williams with the caption: "Allison met Juan Carlo aka DA BACHELOR and her eyes went red with passion." Dunham quickly corrected her moniker mistake with a candid shot and this caption: "UPDATE: his name is Juan Pablo and he's a delight. I can't even make a joke. It's confusing."
Later, "The Bachelor" star gave a delighted Dunham a candy bar, prompting this post: "Another update: Juan Pablo game me this Venezuelan chocolate. Feelin' lucky."
Dunham was clearly smitten with the suave Latino. The Golden Globe winner later told interviewer George Stephanopoulos: "I got a kiss from the Bachelor. I don't really know how to process what's just happened to me, but I think the ladies of the house should be nervous 'cause I'm coming."
Of course, Dunham's run in with Juan Pablo isn't the first time Hollywood has collided with the Make-out Mansion. Check out these Hollywood celebs who've had a thing for "Bachelor" stars.
The "Ghost Whisperer" star was reportedly "obsessed" with "Bachelor" Season 16 star Ben Flajnik, but the Sonoma winemaker "totally wasn't feeling it," according to RumorFix. While the actress later said her crush on Flajnik was overblown, she did post an enthusiastic tweet in praise of the reality star, writing: "Watching 'The Bachelorette'! I love u Ben!! Take this rose I have for u! Choose me!"
In an interview on Ryan Seacrest's radio show, the actress later explained her tweets, and said she later met Flajnik "by chance" in San Francisco: "I was looking for something pop culture to sort of tweet about - I'm new to the Twitter situation, " she said. "So, I sent out funny tweets about Ben F., and then it got all sort of like, blown out of proportion or whatever, and now it's like - the rumor mill is crazy… We did meet, but totally by coincidence."
Boy, that Ben F. gets around! In recent months, the 30-year-old entrepreneur has been spotted out and about with reality TV mom, Kris Jenner. But Flajnik claims the 58-year-old reality TV mom is just a pal: "Kris is a very, very dear friend of mine," he said, according to People. "We are not dating, we're just working on a couple of projects together, so that's why we've been seen a lot as of late."
The unlikely duo's "projects" have them lunching in Beverly Hills, taking in a Kanye West concert, frolicking at Flajnik's vineyard, and even a Mexican vaca. While Jenner further fueled the rumor mill fire by posting "date night" pics on Instagram, Flajnik told People, "It is like you can't do anything without people thinking you're hooking up or in a relationship."
"Bachelor" Season 14 star Jake Pavelka took a walk on the Great White Way after his engagement to Vienna Girardi fizzled. In early 2013, Pavelka told reporters that he was "spending time" with Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth. He later dished to Us Weekly about his relationship with the 44-year-old blonde beauty, saying "We met at an awards show for Hallmark. She hosted and I was presenting an award." At the time, Pavelka said things were going "great" in their relationship, but by March the duo was reportedly dunzo.
