"50 Shades of Grey" seems to be everywhere these days and fans of the popular erotic novel want to know who is going to be starring in the sexy film. Major celebs like Ryan Gosling and Mark Wahlberg have all declined any involvement. We've been hearing all about the celebs people want to star in the film but we have a list of celebs we hope DON'T star in it.
K-Stew admitted recently she thinks the book is creepy and finds it weird when she sees people reading the book in public.
"When I see people reading it on planes and stuff, I'm genuinely creeped out. Like, you're basically just reading porn right now! Get that blanket off your lap!" she said.
The character of Anastasia is based on the role of Bella in "Twilight" so it seems only natural for Kristen to take on the role. We know all you Twi-hards out there are secretly wishing Kristen and Rob Pattinson would take the lead roles in this film but we're glad to hear Kristen is creeped out by the film. That girl needs to stay away from the Bella/Anastasia roles for awhile. Her portrayal of being an awkward girl in the midst of a love triangle didn't really work for us and we can't imagine if an added element of BDSM was thrown in.
Mila has been widely speculated as the actress to nab the job. We think Mila would do a good job of playing Anastasia but at the same time the character starts out as a virgin lured into a world of sex and submission by Christian Grey. Anastasia is an innocent, unassuming girl with practically no knowledge or experience in the love/sex department. We love Mila but let's be real, can anyone see her playing the part of an innocent virgin in the beginning?
Nina has been rumored to be a possible candidate for the highly wanted role but we think she's the last person who should take on the role as Anastasia Steele. Although we've enjoyed Nina on screen in "Vampire Diaries" we don't understand why so many people want celebrities from vampire related shows and movies to take on the part of these major characters. Yes, the book is lightly based on "Twilight" but other than that the movie should find some distance from the vampire franchise.
