Kaley Cuoco added a bit of drama to her ethereal gown at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles on Jan. 18. -- and we couldn't take our eyes off her!
To contrast her gray Vera Wang strapless dress, Mark celebrity makeup artist Jamie Greenberg focused on dramatic eye makeup for the recently married The Big Bang Theory star, 28. "The color of Kaley's Vera Wang dress is so soft that we didn't want the eyes to get lost so we went for it," Greenberg told Us Weekly. "She wanted a navy smokey eye, so we mixed together a few shares to really edge out the eye and make them pop."
Working in Cuoco's "glam room" in her house, Greenberg defined Cuoco's brows with Anastasia Brow Palette and then relied on a blend of the four blues in Mark On the Dot Smokey Palette for the ultimate smoky eye. Greenberg then lined both the top and bottom lash line with Avon SuperShock Gel Liner in Aqua Pop before finishing with two coats of Avon Mega Effects Mascara.
To balance the standout eyes, Greenberg kept the rest of Cuoco's beauty simple. After prepping Cuoco's face with The Method Nourish Moisturizer, SUGUU foundation, and Mark Super Conceal Concealer, Greenberg added dimension with St. Tropez Skin Illuminator and Mark Touch & Glow Shimmer Cubes. A mix of Mark Lipclick in Tutu with a layer of Mark Juice Gems in Juicy Papaya pulled the entire flawless look together.
