Justin Bieber Shocks Fans, Makes Everyone Cry on Fox’s ‘Knock Knock Live’

Justin Bieber followed in David Beckham’s footsteps on Tuesday by turning up on unsuspecting fans’ doorstep and giving them the shock of a lifetime on Ryan Seacrest’s “Knock Knock Live,” airing on Fox.

The “Baby” singer has been strongly criticized for his bad behavior in the past, but there was an outpouring of love for Bieber on Tuesday when he surprised meningitis-survivor Ashley for her quinceañera (the celebration of a girl’s 15th birthday marking when she becomes a woman).

The teen had been too sick to have her party when she turned 15 and doctors feared she would not survive, but her mother says Bieber’s song, “Pray,” gave her the strength to fight it. So he swept in for a belated bash to made sure it was a day Ashley would never forget — and even brought her a dress to wear for the party. “You’re the princess, I’ll be your Prince Charming,” he told her.

“I was speechless, I thought I was dreaming,” Ashley later said about the moment she found Biebs on her doorstep, before Seacrest announced that the show would also be giving the family $10,000 to pay off medical bills.

The 21-year-old Canadian pop sensation went to reward hardworking father, Nikia, and his son Noah, who has Down Syndrome by visiting them at their church.

“I’m kinda just here to give them some love and hopefully be able to bless them,” Bieber said, before knocking on the alter door and prompting cheers from the congregation.

Justin even got a special performance to watch as Noah did a rap with his dad, after which he rewarded the family with a check for $50,000. “He is such an amazing guy,” Nikia marveled. “It is so funny how the media portrays people then you meet them for yourself and they are the exact opposite of what you thought they were.”

With the help of co-hosts in the field including Tyler Posey, Kellie Pickler, Adrienne Bailon, Ross Mathews, Chuey Martinez and Jordan “Shorty” Johnson, Seacrest surprises unsuspecting victims each week by turning up with cases full of cash — and some of their favorite stars.

Other stars set to appear on the contest show include Ariana Grande, Rob Gronkowski, Robin Thicke, Meghan Trainor, Rita Ora, Martha Stewart, Luke Bryan, Lea Michele, Mike Holmes and Bubba Watson.

“Knock-Knock Live” is produced by Simon Fuller’s XIX Entertainment and Dick Clark Productions. Fuller, Michael Herwick, Allen Shapiro, Mike Mahan, Mark Bracco, Stijn Bakkers, Nicolle Yaron and Seacrest serve as executive producers. Fuller, Seacrest, DCP and Fox are stakeholders in the format worldwide. XIX Entertainment has appointed DCP to be the international distributor of the format and series.

“Knock-Knock Live” airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
