How does Jessica Simpson beat treadmill tedium? With a little help from Kiefer Sutherland and a famously ticking clock.
The new mom to baby Maxwell tweeted Wednesday about a new addition to her workout routine: 24!
"24 is my new treadmill show," Simpson, 32, wrote of Fox's action-packed series, which aired its final episode in 2010. "How have I not watched this show before now?!?! Jack Bauer is my hero!"
On Tuesday, it was announced that the singer/designer, who inked a whopping $4 million deal with Weight Watchers to help her shed her baby weight earlier this year, will make her first post-baby public appearance on Katie Couric's new talk show, Katie, September 10.
According to a statement from the Katie team, Simpson will dish about her "most intense challenges . . . the journey to get back into shape . . . and how she's learned to juggle motherhood and her billion dollar business empire."
Simpson is also fitting in workouts with celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak, in addition to following Weight Watchers' point-based eating plan.
"[Weight Watchers] focuses on healthy habits for the long-term (and I can still indulge in my guilty pleasures every now and then, too)," the new mom has raved. "I have actually gotten a group of friends together who are going to be doing it with me."
