Jennifer Lopez showed everyone that she's just as hot as an 18-year-old Britney Spears by donning a sparkly nude bodysuit during her concert in Panama last Thursday night.
J-Lo definitely loves showing off her bootylicious bod in bedazzled nude bodysuits, as this video proves. However, she's not the only singer that has stolen the style that Britney rocked for her 2000 MTV VMAs performance and in her "Toxic" music video.
Katy Perry recently channeled the Princess of Pop at the MuchMusic Awards with a very revealing vajazzled body suit. But the "I Kissed a Girl" singer wasn't very comfortable playing a modern Lady Godiva with purple, butterfly-riddled hair - when she accepted her International Artist Award, she ended up using the trophy to cover up her backside in an effort to avoid flashing too much fake flesh. Katy's almost-see-through nude suit wasn't her only MuchMusic Awards scandal - she also appeared on the red carpet with a little girl wearing a replica of her "California Gurls" cupcake bra (Katy must be a "Toddlers & Tiaras" fan).
Long before Katy was coloring her hair pink, the artist named after the color was singing about not being like Ms. Spears. However, Pink also took a page from the pop princess by rocking a sparkly nude bodysuit at the 2010 Grammy Awards. She gave her suit a Lady Gaga-like twist by having it covered with strips of white tape, but she showed that she's still not just your average pop star by doing a high-flying trapeze act in the costume.
And speaking of Mama Monster, she showed off her own bizarre take on the nude bodysuit a year earlier at the American Music Awards. Gaga's costume featured a flesh-colored flap resembling a jockstrap and white bone-like adornments on her ribs and feet. Rihanna also rocked a nude bodysuit at the same awards show, but she paired her costume covered with white strips of material with some spike-covered shoulder pads.
So J-Lo already has plenty of competition in the battle of the nude bodysuits, but Nicki Minaj could be her toughest adversary - she showed off her equally-ample backside in a body stocking covered with sequins and pearls at her 26th birthday party in 2010.
So do you think that pop stars need to leave Britney's bodysuit alone, or do you think that it's becoming a sexy, timeless look?
