Jake Gyllenhaal covers the September issue of Details magazine and he's sporting a full beard. He was rocking the sexy scruff look for quite some time and apparently decided to kick it up a notch, especially after going bald and clean-shaven for his new movie "End of Watch." We prefer him with the scruffy look, but we'll admit he doesn't look half bad with the beard. At least he keeps it neat and trim unlike some celebs. For all those who are a big fan of the bearded look, there are several celebs who flaunted a furry face on past issues of Details magazine.
On the December 2003 cover of Details, the actor was sporting a look we haven't seen on him in a long time - shaggy hair and a bearded face. It was the same look he wore in "The Last Samurai," which he filmed that year. We prefer him with the shorter hair and hairless face.
The Aussie hottie was showing off his beard on the March 2012 issue of Details. His facial hair is on the borderline of scruff, but it still looks quite sexy. In the cover photo, he's wearing a short sleeve white shirt, blue skinny tie and denim jeans, all by Calvin Klein. He's one of the handful of celebs who look better with facial hair than without.
The actor with his beard and spiked hair looked so much better on the August 2011 issue of Details than he did months later walking the streets with a greasy-looking ponytail and bushy beard. He caused quite a bit of controversy with his accompanying interview in which he admitted he and his "Transformers" co-star, Megan Fox, hooked up while they were doing the movie. Many said he should have kept his mouth shut instead of blabbing about what went on behind closed doors.
Who is your favorite bearded hottie?
