Halloween is just around the corner, and many Hollywood parents are preparing to celebrate with their kids. Whether they're picking out pumpkins, preparing for a party, or sharing their costume plans, here's a look at how some celeb families are getting ready for a spooktacular Halloween.
"The View" host Elisabeth Hasselbeck is making the holiday a family affair. While visiting the "Rachael Ray Show," Elisabeth revealed that her entire family is dressing up as Jake and the Neverland pirates. Hasselbeck says her brood plans to "trick-or-treat like crazy," and that she's "the parrot, Tim's Captain Hook, and little Isaiah's Cubby." The mom of three also shared that she lets her kids eat as much candy as they want on Halloween night! Laughing, she said, "I ask them the next day if they want a Snickers and they're like, 'No.'"
New mom Tori Spelling isn't letting a new baby get in the way of her creativity. The crafty mom of three has been tweeting fun Halloween party recipes and sharing insights on her blog, ediTORIal. On Thursday, Spelling shared an easy recipe for Spooky Mini Pumpkin Pudding that she says "kids and adults both love." Last year, she shared a picture of the Eyeball Cake Pops she made, which somehow manage to look both gross and delicious at the same time. Tori seems like a very cool and very involved mom.
Twins Moroccan and Monroe might be a mere 6 months old, but parents Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are letting them in on the costume-wearing fun. The foursome dressed up as cartoon superheroes from the film "The Incredibles," each one sporting a matching red and black super-suit. While they all look cute, we're a little disappointed that nobody dressed as Edna Mode.
A slew of celeb couples took their kids to visit the popular Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in West Hollywood. Among the visitors were Kimora Lee Simmons and Djimon Hounsou with their three kids, Heidi Klum and Seal with their four children, and "How I Met Your Mother" star Alyson Hannigan with hubby Alexis Denisof and daughter Satyana. Also on hand were Rebecca Gayheart and Eric Dane, who are expecting their second child together, and Christina Aguilera, who helped her son Max pick out the perfect pumpkin.
"Twilight" star Peter Facinelli and wife Jennie Garth say that in their family, "Halloween is all about having fun with the kids." The couple's home was picked to be decorated as part of Wonka's "32 Days of WonkaWeen," which will conclude on November 1. The actor, who plays the soft-spoken vampire Carlisle Cullen in the hit film series, says "Last year we had a haunted house and we had a big Halloween party. This year we definitely stepped it up a notch."
Happy Halloween everyone!
