Simon Cowell and Howard Stern -- both known for their candid critiques of talent show star seekers -- are banking millions of dollars each year and have topped Forbes' annual list of the highest paid TV personalities.
The X Factor judge and music mogul Cowell pulled in $95 million to tie for No. 1 on the magazine's list of 2013 Highest Paid TV Personalities along with radio shock jock Stern, who also serves as a judge on NBC's Cowell-produced competition America's Got Talent.
Media mogul Oprah Winfrey fell to No. 4 on this year's list with earnings of $88 million, followed by talk show host Dr. Phil McGraw in fifth with $72 million.
No. 8 on the list was one of Hollywood's busiest men, American Idol host Ryan Seacrest, who brought in $61 million from his various gigs at FOX, E!, ABC and NBC. Coming in at ninth place on the list was daytime talker Ellen DeGeneres, who earned $56 million, according to Forbes.
