Lindsay Lohan continues to be one of Hollywood's favorite horror stories.
The troubled star's most recent gaffe happened this week when it was announced she would try and mentor young girls at Trinity Athletics, a gym located in Georgia that provides underprivileged girls the chance to learn how to cheer and tumble with grants and scholarships.
The owner of the gym, Cori Davenport, has said nothing is confirmed yet. "We are very busy at the moment on focusing on our upcoming NCA Nationals and that is our only focus presently. I believe everyone deserves a second chance, and everyone makes mistakes. I applaud Ms. Lohan for wanting to make a difference in people's lives, especially young girls so they don't take the same road she has," he said.
Does anyone else think the "Liz & Dick" star should stay far away from the whole mentoring kids thing? We know about all of her various arrests and drug use over the years but let's take a look at some of Lindsay's dumbest moments in the past 12 months aside from her actual arrests.
Sues Pitbull for emotional distress over song reference
Everyone probably remembers Pitbull's 2011 hit song, "Give Me Everything," where he used the line, "I got it locked up, like Lindsay Lohan."
Lindsay didn't appreciate the reference and she sued the entertainer due to a violation of her "publicity and publicity rights." She also claimed the song caused "her emotional distress."
The judge called her out on the ridiculousness of the lawsuit and said in writing, "The fact that the Song was presumably created and distributed for the purpose of making a profit does not mean that plaintiff's name was used for 'advertising' or 'purposes of trade' within the meaning of the New York Civil Rights Law."
Boom. Sorry Lindsay, motion denied.
Tries to get charges dropped because the cops were mean
The actress was recently charged with lying to the police during her June 2012 car crash, but Lohan's new lawyer is pushing to get the charges dropped because he says she wasn't read her Miranda rights and also because the cops "were mean to her."
We look forward to hearing the laughter that comes from this move in the legal case against Lindsay. Also, considering she was caught in a lie during her post-crash interview about whether or not she was driving we can't see this claim of injustice holding any weight.
Banned from Chateau Marmont, moves in with mom
Last summer Lindsay embarrassed herself again after dipping out on paying an almost $50,000 bill at the famous celebrity hotel hot spot Chateau Marmont. The actress stayed there for a couple of months and added up fees by ordering room service and raiding the mini bar, then decided she couldn't afford to pay such a hefty balance.
The hotel swiftly banned her from staying there ever again. Things must be pretty rough for the actress because she's even reportedly moved back in with her mom, Dina Lohan, earlier this month. Do what you gotta do, but maybe it's time for her to find a new job that isn't acting in Lifetime movies so she can actually pay the bills.
Makes film crew work half naked
We never thought Lindsay was afraid of showing her ta-tas, especially after being in Playboy, but last summer the star was so nervous about filming a topless scene for "The Canyons" starring porn star James Deen she requested the entire film crew get down to their boxers.
Do you think it's fair the crew had to get half naked simply because Lindsay had chosen a risqué part in a movie?Note:This was written by a Yahoo! contributor. Join the Yahoo! Contributor Network here to start publishing your own articles.
