The woman rumored to have surgically plumped her kissers to look more like pouty lipped Angelina Jolie posed as the actress for In Touch Weekly magazine.
In its latest issue, the supermarket gossip magazine features photos of Nadya Suleman imitating two of Jolie's most popular memes: the actress jutting her right leg out of a sexy black dress at the Oscars and crossing her arms as super heroine Lara Croft.
With 14 mouths to feed, we can't blame the single mom for cashing in as Jolie's doppelganger, though her claim that she does not resemble the actress -- "I get that we both have a lot of kids, but I don't think I look anything like her" -- is disingenuous.
If that were the case, why would In Touch have paid her to pose as the prettier half of Brangelina?
Despite her denial, you have to hand it to the infamous mother of four-year-old octuplets Noah, Maliyah, Isaiah, Nariyah, Makai, Josiah, Jeremiah and Jonah and six older children for keeping her name in the headlines. Bloggers are having a field day with the publicity stunt, which also included an interview with the busy mom.
The Hollywood Gossip wrote: "Octo . . . compared herself to Brad Pitt's fiancée when it comes to motherhood, something we doubt the U.N. Goodwill Ambassador will be reciprocating."
Celebitchy called the photo feature a "genius PR move" but viewed the overall concept as a fail: "It's hard to find the right words to capture how disturbing and ridiculous she looks."
Meanwhile, a more light-hearted Yahoo! blogger joked, "We hope she kept the wardrobe. A busy mom like her can always use the help with a Halloween costume."
NaughtyButNiceRob offered alleged new deets on the Octomom-Angie obsession: "She has spent a fortune on makeup and hair products to resemble Angelina," said one so-called insider. Another anonymous source said of the photo shoot: "She didn't want the day to end. She kept looking at herself in the mirror and trying to talk like Angie. It was hysterical. At one point she was calling the guys behind the camera Brad!"
Not surprisingly, the SoupTV satirized the pictorial, juxtaposing Jolie's face on Suleman's body engaged in such typical Octomomish activities as "using food stamps to buy family-size Gushers and anti-psychotics." Despite its low blow at the Jolie wannabe, the snarky website put most of the blame on In Touch for publishing the bizarre pictures in the first place:
"It makes sense that Octomom would want to do this, I mean, Angie is one of Hollywood's most legendary beauties, and shock therapy is expensive. But what's In Touch's excuse? Are they afraid they're going to run out of pregnant teens and virgin Bachelors?"
