The Sundance Film Festival -- held every year in Park City, Utah -- is a much more low-key affair than awards shows like the Golden Globes and Oscars. Naturally, the fashion is much more low-key as well.
Who rocked the red carpets at the festival -- and who got dressed in the dark?
Kirsten Dunst is back in a big way -- and her outfit choices for the Sundance Film Festival show her style maturity. The "Bachelorette" actress chose a black Roland Mouret dress with a Derek Lam jacket for the film's premiere on Jan. 23. She topped off her outfit with Chloe accessories, according to US Weekly.
She's also getting in a bit of lip action at the festival, according to the magazine.
"Before leaving the party at 1:30 a.m., Kirsten and Garrett stopped to make out in the middle of the bar," a source told US of her post-premiere lip lock.
Kate Bosworth brought out the glamour for her turn at the Sundance Film Festival. The actress walked on the red carpet for her film "Black Rock" wearing a backless red mini dress from Antonio Berardi's Spring 2012 collection.
She paired the dress with a sleek hairstyle and red lips.
Newest Olsen "It" girl Elizabeth Olsen layered up for the premiere of her film "Red Lights" with an oversized black coat, black boots and scarf. Boring! Maybe her low-key fashion was the result of her comfort with her newfound celebrity.
"It differs because I actually feel a lot more comfortable and relaxed this year at Sundance," Olsen told The Daily Beast of her second year at the festival. "Last year I didn't know what to expect, so I tried to do everything right and I didn't even know what that meant. I was going to bed early, waking up early, and trying to be completely with it. Now I'm just relaxed and hanging out."
Oh, and she wore an equally boring outfit -- with the same scarf -- for another premiere.
Kristen Bell couldn't quite figure out what look she was going for with the yellow Lela Rose top and red boots she wore to the Self Magazine party.
All of the pieces apart are lovely. Together? Not so much.
Emma Roberts looked a tad uncomfortable in the tight Topshop dress she wore to the premiere of "Celeste and Jesse Forever." Can she even breathe in that thing?
Country superstar Taylor Swift was almost unrecognizable in a baggy coat, hair and boots at the "Ethel" premiere. Not your best look, Taylor.
