Caitlyn Jenner Was ‘Hurt’ By Family’s Lack Of Support For ‘I Am Cait’

Let’s be real honest for a moment; every time a new episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians is set to air, our Instagram and Twitter feeds are filled with promotional plugs from the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan.

So when Caitlyn Jenner’s inspiring docu-series ‘I Am Cait’ made its US debut on Sunday night, the silence from the star’s family was unavoidable - and it wasn’t just us who noticed.

According to new reports, Caitlyn has been left feeling “hurt” after all but youngest daughter, Kylie Jenner, failed to mention the show on social media, with a source telling RadarOnline: “Caitlyn was really hurt last night.

“She was really bothered by the fact that her family didn’t show their support online on their Twitter or Instagram accounts like they do for Keeping Up With The Kardashians, or for their own projects.”

Seventeen-year-old Kyls did tweet on the night: “Who’s been watching I Am Cait?”, but Kendall, Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, as well as Brody, Casey, Burt, and Brandon kept schtum.

The insider added: “Caitlyn felt unfairly treated because so many of her kids or family members wouldn’t even take the time to post a simple message on their social media accounts this weekend.”

Despite the lack of social media support from her family, Caitlyn was inundated with glowing reviews from her Twitter followers, with many taking to their accounts to share how emotional and beautifully-crafted the show was.

Still, it seems like nothing means more to the former Olympian than family and their acceptance, and although we doubt that the snub was made on purpose, we do feel bad that Cait has been left feeling a bit down in the dumps about it all.

Hopefully next week the entire clan will redeem themselves, eh?
