Yesterday was our favorite day of the year: April Fool's Day! April 1 is about the only day we can play practical jokes on our friends and coworkers and not be unfriended (or fired!)
Celebrities like to prank their fans, too - though they have to resort to using Twitter and Facebook to pull off their jokes. Did these celebrities fool you, or were their attempts at a joke pretty lame?
Lindsay Lohan - fresh off her trip to Brazil - attempted her own April Fool's Joke. At least we're assuming it's an April Fool's joke - she never really came out and clarified.
"It's official. Pregnant . . ." she tweeted.
Let's hope it's a joke. The thought of Lohan as a mom is pretty terrifying!
New mom Snooki confused some fans - and even a few gossip watchers - when she tweeted about her impromptu wedding to fiance Jionni LaValle.
"Jionni and I eloped! Here's a pic of the magical day!" she tweeted, adding an obviously Photoshopped photo of the pair in wedding gear.
"Mannn you fooled me!" LaValle joked back in his own tweet.
Champion boxer Mike Tyson is almost as well know known for his face tattoo as he is for his powerful punch. But, is he getting it removed?
"At the doctors office this morning. Getting this tattoo removed from my face."
"This is going to be painful," he tweeted.
Of course, it's all a joke.
"Ok. April Fools. There is no #GoodbyeMikeTysonTattoo," he added in a later tweet. "This tattoo is with me forever."
"Teen Mom" star Farrah Abraham, who was recently arrested for a DUI, also scared us with her joke about a new bundle of joy.
"Big day for Sophia & I," she tweeted. "Were adopting a baby brother, Sophie is super excited xo! Adopting is a #blessing."
She later confessed to the joke. Good thing, 'cause the thought is almost as terrifying as Lindsay Lohan as a mom.
"Star Trek" star - and Facebook user extraordinaire - George Takei incited rage among fans when he announced he's switching intergalactic franchises.
"Friends, I am thrilled to announce that I'll be starring in the Star Wars reboot directed by JJ Abrams," he wrote on April Fool's Day. "I'll be playing Master Ceti Maru, a member of the Jedi High Council. The new film, entitled 'Star Wars: Galactic Empire,' is greenlit and will begin filming sometime early next year. It is truly a moment for The Star Alliance."
Of course, it's a joke. Fans would not allow that.
