Britney Spears switched out her signature blond locks to help celebrate the Academy Awards on Sunday.
The singer and former "X Factor" judge debuted a long brown 'do with some mild bangs framing her face (perhaps inspired by Michelle Obama?) when she arrived for the party portion of Elton John's annual Oscar- viewing soiree.
With a female friend and manager Larry Rudolph in tow, Britney caused a traffic jam at the top of the red carpet close to 11 p.m., where hosts Elton and his husband, David Furnish, greeted her.
"She's got two kids!" Elton said, complimenting the pop star’s figure in a floor-length black sequined dress.
Partygoers weren't shy about snapping pictures on their phones as the group made introductions then headed into the ballroom an amazing set from Emeli Sande.
Additional celeb revelers at the event included Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, Kim Kardashian, Miley Cyrus, Heidi Klum, and Jim Carrey.
