At this point, it's nearly impossible to keep all the events straight, which is why we've put together this handy timeline of their troubles, so you don't have to. For now, Tori has refrained from comment and seems to be focused on keeping it together (publicly, at least) through the holidays … but that could change once the new year rolls around. No matter how it ends, however, one thing is certain: These two have had quite a ride.
2006: The former "90210" star shocks her parents — and just about everyone else — by leaving her first husband, Charlie Shanian, to elope with Dean McDermott, a Canadian actor she met while filming a TV-movie entitled "Mind Over Murder."
June 23, 2006: Tori's father, Aaron Spelling, dies. Tori reportedly finds out from a text message sent by a friend because her mother, Candy (still upset by Tori's sudden marriage to Dean), refuses to contact her.
March 13, 2007: Tori and Dean welcome their first child, son Liam Aaron McDermott. Candy is reportedly not at the hospital for the birth.
March 20, 2007: "Tori & Dean: Inn Love" premieres. The premise of the show takes a quiet stab at her mother by asserting that Tori only received $800,000 of her father's $500 million estate and was now looking for a bed and breakfast in which to invest her sliver of an inheritance.

June 11, 2008: Tori and Dean's second child, Stella Doreen McDermott, is born.
March 2009: Candy Spelling released her book, "Stories from Candyland," which (among other things) takes nearly every opportunity to criticize Tori.
May 2009: Candy publicly blames Tori for the death of Aaron during a radio interview. "My daughter one day decided that she wasn’t speaking to my husband, myself and my son, and that’s how it’s continued for the last, oh gosh, four or five years," she explained. "And it was sad. That’s what killed my husband, actually. He just didn’t want to live after that."
March 2010: Tori blasts back, releasing her own memoir entitled "Mommywood," which positioned the reality star as your average "suburban working mom." (In other words, the exact opposite of her mother, Candy.)
May 8, 2010: Tori and Dean renew their marriage vows with family and friends in attendance. Dean gives his better half a custom-designed Darkened Diamond Eternity Band by Neil Lane.
October 10, 2011: Tori gives birth to their third child, daughter Hattie Margaret McDermott.
January 2012: "Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood" (the reiteration of "Inn Love") airs its final episode (though Tori doesn't find out for several more months), leaving the couple without a steady income.
May 2012: Rumors buzzed that Tori's pregnancy was the only thing holding her marriage to Dean together, and that the couple was headed for divorce.

August 30, 2012: The couple welcomes their fourth child, son Finn Davey McDermott, less than one year after Hattie was born.
October 2012: Tori reveals that she was hospitalized while pregnant with Finn due to a condition called placenta previa, and risked losing the baby. She also admits that some of the complications may have been due to the fact that she became pregnant again only six weeks (?!) after giving birth to her third child.
February 2013: More rumors surface that Tori and Dean's marriage is on the rocks because Tori fears Dean has been cheating on her for years. Tori is accused of monitoring Dean's calls, while he's accused of criticizing her for weight she gained during (her fourth) pregnancy. Sheesh.
March 2013: Tori writes an open letter slamming the divorce reports.

May 2013: Candy and Tori attend The Helping Hand of Los Angeles annual mother's day luncheon together in a public display of their "mended" relationship.
June 2013: Dean gets a new "Tori" tattoo in "an unbelievably intimate spot" (as tweeted by Tori) to show his devotion to his bride.
October 2013: Tori and Dean reveal that they've had financial woes since 2011 when they sold their Encino mansion at a sizable loss. Their troubles were then exacerbated by Tori's retail space, InvenTORI, failing to turn a profit and her subsequent hospitalization during her last pregnancy, which prevented her from working for several months.
December 25, 2013: Amidst the cheating allegations, Tori posted an adorable family photo on her blog. In the caption, she declared, "I can’t help but feel so grateful for all of my blessings." The whole family signed the note, including Dean.
