She got Lindsay Lohan … so is Oprah Winfrey now going after Paula Deen as her next huge sit down interview?
"The Butler" actress chatted with "omg! Insider" host Kevin Frazier on Monday night at the Los Angeles premiere of her new film.
"I'm not a 'get after girl,'" Winfrey told Kevin Frazier.
"But you get the answer," Frazier responded.
"I don't take offense to that," smiled Oprah. "I would love to when she is ready to sit down and have a conversation about what all of this has meant to her and how it's sort of settled with her."
Continued the former talk show host: "You know, I think when you're caught in the middle of all the media stuff it, it throws you off course and you really need to settle with yourself. Like when she did that interview on the 'Today' show she probably needed to wait a few days, you know, to settle down and ... so when she's ready I would love to do it."
On Monday, a federal judge in Georgia ruled that Lisa Jackson, who is white, has no standing to sue Deen and her brother, Bubba Hiers, for racial discrimination.
"I do think that makes a difference," Oprah weighed in. "Yeah I mean wouldn't it have been, we would have had a different conversation the other day if she had been charged with racially discriminating or racially affecting people in a way that is damaging to them. I think we'd be having a different conversation."
