Meryl Streep Is 'Gangsta,' According to New BFF 50 Cent

As we've heard time and again during awards season, Meryl Streep is a Hollywood legend. However, she's also a little gangsta.

The "August: Osage County" star, who will again be vying for Best Actress in a Leading Role come Oscar night, was courtside to watch the hometown New York Knicks defeat the Los Angeles Lakers in Manhattan on Sunday afternoon. And while taking in the game with her hubby, artist Don Gummer, the thespian also made a new friend: 50 Cent!

In between watching Carmelo Anthony and company dominate on the court, the 64-year-old actress, wearing jeans and one of her signature scarfs, had a playful banter with the rapper. They were laughing at one another's jokes, cheering — and even held hands at one point.

And, like any fans, they appeared truly excited when they saw themselves up on the Jumbotron.

The best part about it, however, was that 50 Cent, who has been acting for the last several years himself, didn't even try to play it cool about hanging with the highly regarded Oscar winner. He was straight up excited, taking to Instagram to tell his 1.6 million followers, "Man I got a good life man."

After the game, the lovefest continued for the pair, who both reside in Connecticut, though about an hour apart. They then met up with Kobe Bryant, who is sidelined due to an injury, for a photo op.

"Things got a little gangsta. Lol," 50 Cent wrote about this photo, which showed Streep crossing her arms.

And another photo of the threesome was captioned, "Best ball KOBE, Best Rap 50, Best Actress Meryl Streep. TOP THAT."

He's right — it's certainly hard to top that trio. And it's hard to top these funny pics.
