Ja Rule and Jennifer Lopez's song "I'm Real" has been a hit since it first came out in 2001.
So when "omg! Insider" co-anchor Kevin Frazier sat down with Ja Rule, who got out of prison in May after serving 23 months of a 28-month sentence on tax evasion and gun-related charges, he had to ask what it was like to work with the "American Idol" judge and how it all came together.
"I wrote the record in like 15 minutes," Ja Rule revealed. "J.Lo comes, she sings her part … and we were literally on the jet the next morning, going to record the record fully, shoot the video, everything in like a day's time. It was the quickest turn around ever for a record."
Check out this video to see what else Ja Rule has to say about working with J.Lo, and be sure to tune in to "omg! Insider" on television tonight for all the latest in entertainment news!
