The 46-year-old Oscar winner kicked off her shoes at the BAFTA LA Britannia Awards in Beverly Hills on Saturday night. We mean that literally. The leggy, auburn-haired star, who was honoring her close pal and "Ocean's Eleven" co-star George Clooney with the Stanley Kubrick Award for Excellence in Film, took the stage barefoot. In fact, she was rolled out on a wheelchair — prop leftover from a Sacha Baron Cohen prank earlier in the evening — with her legs extended out and her manicured toes on display.
"I'm normally in my second REM cycle by now so let's get this done," the "Erin Brockovich " star cracked as she began her speech. "George Clooney, or as my daughter calls him, 'George Looney.' So, so honored to be here tonight."

The jokes continued with Roberts, who flashed her trademark toothy smile for the crowd, saying there were "two obvious reasons" she was selected to present Clooney with the award. "One, Brad Pitt was out of town," she deadpanned. "Two, Matt Damon, he's in town, but he was unavailable."
Uncharacteristically, jokester Clooney was more sentimental and less playful when it was his turn to talk.
"It has been such a pleasure to watch the woman you have become," he said to Roberts. "It's very hard for me to be just straight nice because she'll get me later. But just an amazing mother, an amazing wife, and a great, great friend. It's really an honor to have her here."
The mother of three, who is married to cameraman Danny Moder, yukked it up in the audience as well. Rocking some dark rimmed glasses, she sat next to Clooney at a table throughout the event and they joyfully whispered, laughed, and gabbed. She was waving to friends who were also among the attendees and, during commercial breaks, was working the room to chat with Cohen, Sean Penn, Kathryn Bigelow, and "12 Years a Slave" breakout star Lupita Nyong'o, among others.

For his part, Clooney, who has been single since his split from Stacy Keibler over the summer, was seen having a mini "ER" reunion as he chatted with Alex Kingston.
Roberts's night out seemed to be a fun one, but in an interview with Marie Claire, which hit the web today, she says her life isn't all about glitz and glam.
"It's my privilege and honor to cook three meals a day for my family, and it's a luxury on a level that I didn't even realize, because it can be relentless for me on some days," the star, whose next film "August: Osage County," which co-stars Meryl Streep, opens Christmas Day. "You have pride in how you take care of your family."
But there's nothing wrong with letting your hair down now and then either.
