In an interview with Parade magazine, Jennifer Aniston revealed that her 30s were a rather awkward time, and it wasn't until recently that she came into her own. But now, Jen is feeling better than ever, and when asked about her upcoming 45th birthday, she told the mag, "There's nothing to worry about — although I don't think I had a care in the world at 25, either. That all started in my 30s, my awkward phase. I'm a little bit of a late bloomer! But it doesn't matter to me because it just gets better. They do say youth is wasted on the young, but I feel just as youthful now — if not more — than I did when I was 25. I'm more in my body. I'm more in my mind. Life is full. Life is wonderful. We're very very fortunate."
Jennifer famously married Hollywood heavyweight Brad Pitt when she was 31 years old, divorcing him only five years later. In 2011 Brad told Parade of his life at that time, "It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn't living an interesting life myself. I think that my marriage had something to do with it, trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn't."
Ouch! No wonder Jennifer's 30s were awkward! But now she's crediting her fiancé, Justin Theroux, in part for her happiness. Check out the vid to hear what she had to say about her leading man, and be sure to tune in to "omg! Insider" on TV tonight for the latest in entertainment news.
