If acting and singing don't pan out for Jared Leto, it looks as if he has a solid backup gig! The 42-year-old actor proudly showed off his skills in the kitchen on Sunday when he posted a video of himself flipping pancakes with the caption, "Pancake pro in the house."
But this isn't the first time the 30 Seconds to Mars frontman has gushed over his love for the breakfast treat. After the early-morning announcement of his Best Supporting Actor Oscar nomination for his performance as a transgender woman dying from AIDS in "Dallas Buyer's Club," he told The Hollywood Reporter, "I'm going back to bed and then waking up and making vegan pancakes."
It seems as if Jared's back to his healthy ways after losing a whopping 30 pounds for the role. He spoke candidly about shedding the pounds for the film, telling Attitude magazine, "It does take its toll and it's not something I will ever do again. It's a really hard thing to do to your body. When you do it over a short period of time it's incredibly brutal.'' And Jared recently spoke to The Guardian about his 67-pound weight gain for his role as Mark David Chapman in "Chapter 27," admitting, "Really, it's a stupid thing to do. I got gout, and my cholesterol went up so fast in such a short time that my doctors wanted to put me on Lipitor, which is for much, much older people."
Check out the vid to see Jared's pancake-flipping skills, and be sure to tune in to "The Insider" on TV tonight for the latest in entertainment news.
