Exes Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr to Spend Christmas Together

Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr formally separated over a year ago, but they'll still deck the halls together this Christmas.

The amicable exes — who are parents to Flynn — will spend the holidays together, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies star said on Wednesday's the Ellen DeGeneres Show. Their respective families will be with them as well.

"His mom [lives] really close, which is great, so we'll be able to do Christmas together," the British actor, 37, said of his 3-year-old son. "Her family, my family — we'll all kind of come together."

When DeGeneres noted that was "so important" for Flynn, Bloom added, "It totally is."

All things considered, Bloom and the Australian supermodel have had a peaceful split — at least publicly. Days after announcing their separation in October 2013, they were seen kissing goodbye after spending time together with their son. It is unclear whether they filed for divorce yet — no records have been made public — though they have extensive financial considerations to hash out. She is No. 2 on Forbes's list of the highest-paid models, earning $7.2 million last year; the Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean franchises have made Bloom a very rich man.

However, in July, Bloom had a public spat with Justin Bieber that was reportedly over Kerr. The model had hung out with the Canadian crooner prior to her separation and there were rumors that they exchanged —gasp! — sext messages.

While Bloom didn't talk about the Bieber battle royale, he did discuss another pop star on Ellen: Harry Styles. DeGeneres said that Bloom's longer locks have been drawing comparisons to Style's signature shaggy 'do.

"Really? I'm trying to look like Harry Styles? Wait a second! I'm trying to look like me," he said, adding, "But I like Harry." As for when he'll snip his tresses, Bloom, who said he grew out his hair out for a role quipped, "I don't know. If I'm getting compared to Harry Styles, then maybe I should."

Could another feud be in the works? Nah. He's too busy planning for a peaceful holiday season.
