Daniel Radcliffe has been in the spotlight since he was 11 years old when "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" first arrived in theaters. And, although he's received a massive amount of fame, he's also managed to do what many stars have not: maintain his privacy.
The 24-year-old sat down for an interview with U.K.’s Sky News, where he shared his advice to other celebrities on the matter.
"I don't have Twitter and I don't have Facebook, and I think that makes things a lot easier because if you go on Twitter and tell everybody what you're doing moment to moment and then claim you want a private life, then no one is going to take that request seriously," he shared.
Although the actor, who is currently starring in the second season of "A Young Doctor's Notebook" on SkyArts1 alongside Jon Hamm, has managed to protect his personal life, that doesn't mean fame has been easy for him.
"I've gotten better at not letting it affect me," he said. "I used to be sort of overwhelmed by it. I would let it get to me but now I'm at a level where it can't really get to me in my mind. But there's certain things you can do to make it a lot easier on yourself."
What are some of those things … and who totally breaks Daniel's rules? You'll have to check out the video above. And, of course, be sure to tune in to "omg! Insider" for all the latest in entertainment news.
