She became an overnight trans icon with the words, "for all intents and purposes, I am a woman." Caitlyn Jenner is also an activist and is soon to receive an icon award at the EPSYs. Now, Caitlyn Jenner is a blogger. She's wearing all kinds of different hats these days.

Jenner posted the first in what is to be a series of personal posts for WhoSay Monday, titled, "The Journey Begins."

She starts by thanking those who've supported her since she came out as trans.

"The response to my new journey has been overwhelmingly positive and I’m eternally grateful for all of your sweet messages, letters, and gifts," she writes.

Jenner then makes her intentions clear, that she plans to become a voice for the marginalized within her newfound community.

"Up until now, I have totally isolated myself from the transgender community so I have a lot of catching up to do," Jenner says. "I feel such a responsibility to this courageous group to try to get it right and tell all sides of the story. To me, that's always the biggest question: am I doing it right?"

Since coming out, Jenner has made several new friends from the trans community. She was out during NYC Pride at Candis Cayne's rooftop show. While in New York, she and Cayne — who was the first transgender actress to play a transgender character on primetime television, in 2007's Dirty Sexy Money — also took in a showing of An American in Paris on Broadway. After Vanity Fair introduced the world to Caitlyn, she posted a photo of herself with several friends on Instagram, captioning the shot: "Learn from those who have walked the path before you."

Jenner promises that her future posts will introduce us to this "well-adjusted and smart" group of friends. She also says she's going to shine a light on "the serious issues and lessons that I am learning through this process."

Jenner's post specifically points to high school bullying and abuse and to sex work, which is the only employment option for many trans women around the world.

But Jenner finishes her inaugural post on a high note.
