Bill Cosby isn't going down without a fight. So says Bill Cosby.

The embattled 77-year-old entertainer issued a new statement ahead of his comedy show scheduled in Louisiana on Friday, which will go on as planned (many have not).

“Dear Fans: For 53 years you have given me your love, support, respect and trust. Thank you! I can’t wait to see your smiling faces and warm your hearts with a wonderful gift — LAUGHTER. I’m ready!" the once beloved comedian said. “I thank you, the theatre staff, the event organizers and the Lafayette Community for your continued support and coming to experience family, fun entertainment. Hey, Hey, Hey — I’m far from finished. Sincerely, Bill Cosby.”

More than 25 women (and counting) have come forward accusing the Cosby Show mastermind of sexual assault. Just this week, a model named Heidi Thomas told CNN a familiar story: that more than 30 years ago she was allegedly drugged and came to with Cosby forcing himself on her.

Cosby's lawyer has yet to address the most recent allegation, but has denied previous claims, telling CNN in November that it defies common sense that "so many people would have said nothing, done nothing, and made no reports to law enforcement or asserted civil claims if they thought they had been assaulted over a span of so many years."

The comedian has denied wrongdoing through his legal team, but has largely remained silent.

Although last month, Cosby attempted to make light of the ongoing situation on stage in London, Ontario. An hour into his 90-minute show a woman in the front row stood up and asked him if he wanted a drink. Cosby replied, "You have to be careful about drinking around me." According to local reports the majority of the 1,500 people in the audience groaned.

Wonder if he will give the joke another go tomorrow.
