Earlier this week, we learned that Amy Poehler and her BFF Tina Fey are officially returning for round two as they host the Golden Globe Awards in January. So, when "omg! Insider" caught up with Amy at the "Parks and Recreation" 100th episode celebration Wednesday, we pressed her to share her preparation mantra.
Only, Amy had no mantra, and preferred to relieve our own Keltie Knight of hers. "Ours is 'courage, passion, and work,' which is why I want you to change yours, because it feels weird to me that we have the same mantra."
While the relaxation aid might be one element of her hosting gig, footwear is quite another … and Amy's not exactly looking forward to that part. However, wise sage that she is, the Emmy nominee notes that wearing uncomfortable kicks can happen anytime.
“The thing is, you don't have to host a show to wear shoes that hurt because you can go to any event and wear shoes that hurt," she said before pointing to the pair on her feet, which she had been wearing in a scene from the "Parks and Rec." "These ones aren't bad because these are Leslie shoes, and Leslie shoes are kinder."
